EASY STEPS FOR BATHTUB RESURFACING

1. Atlantic Bath and Kitchen resurfacing process begins with bathtub scraping to remove large pieces of damaged bathtub surfaces.

2. This is followed by washing and applying solvents to the bathtub repair surface.

3. An etching process is then used followed by a neutralizing solution and then bathtub sanding to smooth out the surface.

4. Solvents and neutralizers are applied a second time to complete the preparation stages, followed by the undercoat and two to three coats of bathtub surface coats.

When your tub or shower is finished, the surface will be smooth, glossy, and non-porous. In fact, it will meet and exceed all of the original manufacturer’s specifications for stain and acid resistance.

If you are trying to sell your home, the shiny tub will surely be a plus in any potential buyer’s eyes! They will probably think it is brand-new!

We save you time and money by completing your bathtub refinishing project in four to five hours on average. The Bathtub resurfacing work is all performed in your bathroom, and we carefully prepare the work area to be completely sure there are no spills or mess for you to clean up.

BATHTUB RESURFACING PROCEDURES

The refinished bathtub surface after the resurfacing will have a high gloss and be as durable as the original surface if not stronger. The best part is that it is easy to care for and clean. Follow these common sense cleaning procedures and your refinished bathtub will stay beautiful looking for 10 to 15 years or more.

• Use only non-abrasive cleaners and mild soaps to clean your bathtub or refinished shower enclosure.

• Clean your bathtub regularly with a non-abrasive cleaner such as Dow Scrubbing Bubbles along with sponge or a soft rag.

• Use a shower caddy to keep soaps, brushes and shampoos off your refinished bathtub surface.
• Do NOT use - Bleach or Lemon Cleaners.

• Do NOT use abrasive or sharp tools to clean your resurfaced bathtub.

• Do NOT use Soft Scrub, Comet, Ajax or abrasive scrubby pads. These will wear down a bathtub's surface.
